Frontend Software Engineering Intern

Spyxpo is looking for a motivated and skilled Frontend Software Engineering Intern to join our Software Engineering team. As an intern, you will contribute to the development of innovative software products and technologies that support Spyxpo’s mission of making advanced technology affordable, accessible, and impactful.

You will collaborate with software engineers, designers, researchers, and innovators to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern frontend development practices and real-world product engineering.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of modern web and desktop application interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create high-quality software solutions while learning industry-standard development workflows, engineering best practices, and collaborative software development.

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using modern web technologies.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product teams to implement new features.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and REST APIs.
• Debug, test, optimize, and improve application performance and usability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
• Prepare technical documentation and project updates.
• Follow software quality, security, and development standards.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for software development, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Willingness to learn modern frontend frameworks and development tools.
• Academic projects, hackathons, internships, or personal software projects are preferred but not mandatory.
