Role Overview

Spyxpo Technologies Private Limited is looking for a Remote Python Backend Developer to build, scale, and maintain secure backend systems that power our digital products. This role is ideal for developers who are self-driven, comfortable working remotely, and experienced in building reliable server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Design scalable backend architectures for remote-first products
• Work closely with frontend developers and cross-functional remote teams
• Manage databases and ensure performance, security, and reliability
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
• Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability
• Participate in remote code reviews and agile development processes
• Document APIs and backend workflows clearly

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend design principles
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Proficiency with Git and remote collaboration tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience

• 1–4 years of experience in Python backend development (skill-focused)

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in fully remote teams
• Knowledge of microservices and asynchronous processing
